We exhibit them differently, and to greater and lesser degrees, but we all must struggle with the constant ebb and flow as each face presents itself and then backs away lending room for the next face to appear. Through a collection of short stories, the author shows the reader her life with "snapshots" of time. These literary snapshots tell the story of her journey attempting to live in harmony with Parkinson's disease, an uninvited guest in her life for over 25 years. You can almost hear the southern drawl as she tries to convey to the reader, through humor, her desire to not be defined by her disease.
