David Hamshire has worked in the Royal Air Force as an aircraft electrical technician, then for ten years as a photo-copier engineer. David then worked for seven years with Open Doors with Brother Andrew, taking bibles into countries which were opposed to the Christian message. Later, before retirement, David worked in financial services. David and his wife Janet have been married for more than fifty years and they have two daughters and five grandchildren.
