Dr. Nabil Farouk is the Arab world's leading author of detective and sci-fi novels, and has published more than 500 books. He is the author of a number of series, most famously File of the Future, Man of the Impossible and Cocktail 2000. He was born in Tanta, Egypt in 1956 and graduated from the School of Medicine in Tanta in 1980.
