Paul Dunstan is brought back to Fellstones to participate in the village festival. When he grew up he moved away to hide from his adoptive parents and from the influence of the seven ancient stones on the green. As he begins to recall what he fled from, the festival will revive the purpose for which an occultist called down the stones from space?
