This book is published to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Folcrá Company. However, its content goes beyond the limits of a company's activity to harness its experience to explore the history of lightweight walling systems. This is feasible as Folcrá's production work can be used to exemplify the entire evolution of this building technique in Spain, and even in the work of Spanish architects whose projects have been erected in other countries.
