These stories are narrated almost completely in the present tense. Generally there is also some use of verbs in the simple past and future. Some of these readers also include explanations of more complex grammatical structures, such as first conditional, relative clauses and infinitive constructions. The illustrations are a tool for building and testing vocabulary.
